I received a CD in the mail from Big Fish Games. It has 25 game demos on it. That means I can try out 25 games without having to download any of them. Downloading really doesn’t take that long on broadband but still it’s nice to have some of CD.

Since I still have a game credit to spend, I thought that the 25 on the disk might be some of their more popular games and might give me some direction on which game to get next.

It’s also nice to receive something in the mail that isn’t junk or a bill, so I will be checking out the Big Fish cd this week.

Our biggest problem with Guitar Hero Encore Rock the 80s is the song Radar Love. The original Radar Love was released by Golden Earring in 1973, so it really doesn’t qualify to an 80s edition. However, a cover of the song was released in the 1980s by White Lion. The song on GH 80s is a cover of White Lion’s cover of Radar Love, which means the version that I love is not on there.

It would have been nice to have the original Radar Love either on GH II or on Guitar Hero III. I do think it’s a good choice since it has some great guitar work, but for the 80s edition? There’s bound to be some songs that would have been a better fit. Still enjoy the 80s edition overall. This is just a minor complaint but I do love the original Radar Love and sad to see it brought the GH by a band that did a cover of the song and not the original artists.

Guitar Hero Rock the 80s is on sale beginning today, so that means this afternoon I will probably be picking up a copy. I can’t wait as I’ve been looking forward to its release for a while. Here is a longer list of songs for the 80s edition.

I just can’t seem to get enough of hidden object games. Just when I think I have my addiction beat, out comes the game Travelogue 360: Rome - The Curse of the Necklace. Burger Island is an action/adventure casual game where you play Patty trying to build up a rundown burger stand on a tropical island. Flipping burgers is always better on a tropical island. Anything job is better if it can be done on a tropical island.

There are 30 recipes that you can purchase throughout the game as well as 40 items to unlock. You can fill multiple orders at once. Click on an item to select it, then move the mouse to the use the item. Some menu items are a multi-step process. To make chocolate milk, first you will have to fill the glass with milk and then add the chocolate.

Burger Island features five locations and 60 challenging levels.

To travel the world in search of the best ingredients to make chocolate is a career move I would gladly make. In Chocolatier, I can experience it all through my computer. The only thing missing is smell-a-vision.

Chocolatier is a puzzle game that features traveling the world and buying ingredients to make chocolate. There 60 recipes to acquire as well as 130 quests to complete. Build your chocolate empire one recipe and happy customer at a time. It’s not enough to make fabulous chocolates but you must keep a close eye on your competitors.

Coloring is a favorite pastime for many kids. Our child loves to color and love the computer. Coloring with the computer combines two of her favorite activities into one. The Doll Palace has plenty of free Coloring Pages.

There are some really nice free coloring pages that you can print out and color the old fashioned way with crayons. Flowers Story is a puzzle game that features bright colorful flowers. It has a storyline that centers around a little girl who finds a beautiful flower with with a sick fairy on it. Now her mission is to help the fairy get better.

Flowers Story is a casual game that is part tycoon and part matching. You will have to match so many types of flowers to move on. After a few rounds, merchants will place their order for bouquets. Make the flower arrangements to earn money.

Clear flowers by lining up three in a row. You can either rotate flowers left or right. Rotating a flower too much will cause it to wilt and then eventually die. Flowers Story is nice because you can move flowers without having three in a row, so it’s possible to get big combos and to make the merchants’ bouquets. Once you fill an order, click on the money to add it to your total. The left column will show you how many more flowers are needed to complete your level.

Flowers Story is fun and what is best is that it was part of the Game Giveaway of the Day. Some real game gems can be found for free. Flowers Story has a demo version, and the full version cost $19.95.
