Hell’s Kitchen - the casual game

Casual Games No Comments »

Hell’s Kitchen the reality TV show might be mildly entertaining but a casual game based on it just seems like a recipe for disaster. Or maybe that’s the point? The show puts chefs to the test in Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen. I’ve watched the show maybe once. I remember a lot of crying and a lot of yelling. Not what I would call must see TV. So, even though I’m a reality TV fan, I have to pass on this one.

And most likely I will pass on the casual game, too. I’m sure if I can’t stand to watch the show then I’m sure I wouldn’t much care for the casual game.

Still, for those who like the show or are fans of these type of mini-game casual games, then this might be fun for you. But with a demo download of 77 MB at Big Fish Games, it’s not for me on my Fair Use satellite Internet.

My favorite game that has to do with commercial real estate has a sequel. Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year is definitely on my want list since I enjoyed playing the first game so much.

In Build-a-lot 2, you use your skills to build a town. It’s up to you to place shopping malls, town buildings, and resident housing. This resource management game is fun and challenging. Plus how often do you have the chance to build a town? Yeah, not often.

Build-a-lot 2 is in the top 5 at Big Fish Games. For Sims fans who enjoy the building more than the playing, this could be a great tide me over until the release of The Sims 3. Aren’t casual games great? You can always download the free demo and play an hour so you will know exactly if it’s a fun game.

Even though it’s been out for a few weeks, I finally remembered to download the trial version of Big City Adventure - Syndey, Australia. I loved the first Big City Adventure set in San Francisco and couldn’t wait for the next installment. It was finally realized and I completely forgot about it until now.

The whole family including grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, and brother and sister are traveling to Sydney for this adventure. This hidden object game has all sorts of new objects to find. One thing that won’t be found is top wrinkle cream for grandma, but that’s really about it! There are sundials, turtles, airplanes, and boomerangs along with hundreds of other items, too. New puzzles to solve also are included that will lead you to your next destination.

Big City Adventure Sydney, Australia continues the fun adventure that was found in San Francisco. This is my favorite hidden object game franchise. It’s the only one I’ve ever completed and feel pretty sure that I will work to complete Sydney, too.
