I have tried a few times to get into the games like Petz and Nintendogs. I remember having a gigapet on a keychain and loving it. So, I thought that by default that I would enjoy these newer sim pet games. Wrong.

Maybe it’s because I have pets now and have to buy pet supplies that I’m not so much into caring for a virtual pet, too. Or maybe those games are only appealing to a certain age group that I’m not a part of.

Maybe I will enjoy these type of pet sim games when my own daughter is a little older and is into them. I might give them another shot when I’m bored and need something stress-free to play.
