Wits & Wagers coming to 360
Console games March 20th, 2008One of my favorite board games is coming to Xbox Live. Wits & Wagers is a party board game the is a combination of trivia and betting.
Each game is played in seven rounds with one question in each round. Each answer is a numerical one. Players write down their answer then answers are sorted onto what resembles a craps betting mat. Players then bet on which answer they believe to be the closest to the correct answer. Payout is made to the winner(s). The last round, players can bet all of their money. The person with the most money wins the game.
This should be a fun title for Xbox Live since it is a social game. The developers are also working on a Facebook and mobile version of Wits & Wagers.

I can’t wait to see how they turn Wits & Wagers into a video game. The board game is awesome since it turns trivia games on their head, since you do not have to know trivia in order to win.
The new XBLA version should maintain that revolutionary aspect of the board game, but the real question is whether they can capture the social party game aspect. If so, this will be a great title to own for the Xbox.
If not, it will probably still be worth owning, since their are no other titles like it out there.
