A Home and One to Spare
Posted on Jan 10, 2008 under Way Off Topic |I was thumbing through a Country Living magazine when I noticed an article about this family and their second home. They were able to get their dream weekend ranch home by watching their budget and splurging on those amenities that were most important.
This makes me think that having a second home might not be a bad idea especially if you had a nice cabin in the mountains or a condo near the beach. It would be nice to have a spot just to pack up and head to on the weekends.
My husband’s family use to have a second home that they loved. They would just head to the beach whenever they wanted to and always had a place to stay. It’s not a bad idea. It would definitely give us some more options to place some of our stuff.
