An Idea for a Casual Game

Game Talk 2 Comments »

I have an idea for a casual game, and since there are so many on the market, I wouldn’t be surprised if it already exists. How about a sim game where you take on the role of travel agent, planning the perfect vacation for couples, families, etc.

You might have to plan Orlando vacations or San Francisco vacations for people. It could work the same way as Wedding Dash where you have choices and pick the one that is best for the family. Then you play the family on vacation to see if they actually enjoy doing the activities you scheduled for them.

Ok, so my concept needs some work but it could be fun. I might have to do some research to see if it already exists. Like I said I will be surprised if the game isn’t already out in the market.

Fair is in Town

A sure sign that fall is here is the start of the local fair. I always enjoyed going to the fair when I was a kid. Now I’m looking forward to taking Rae. We might even take in the Sammy Kershaw show. While it’s not Jersey Boys tickets, it’s still more my speed than some other popular bands.

I always love riding the rides when I was a teenager. Now I’m looking forward to the pig races and the petting zoo as I think Rae will enjoy both of those. It’ll be wonderful to share one of my favorite events with my daughter this year. It’s fun to see everything through her eyes as she is really an awe of a lot of things we take for granted. Being a parent is totally cool.

To The Beach!

We live relatively close to a large body of water, so going to the beach is something we could easily do on any weekend. Why I do enjoy the beaches near us, I really love to visit other beaches around the U.S. Look at this view. Can you guess where in the U.S. it is located?

Well, if you said Oregon, then you’re right. Oregon is a state I would love to visit and hadn’t realized what beautiful beaches they had until doing a little research on the Beaver state. We have friends who live in Oregon but lived here for a while but couldn’t wait to move back. I think I’m realizing why. Just look at how beautiful it is. One day we will have to visit them and the beautiful beaches of Oregon.

We will have to look into an Oregon coast vacation rentals since I’m convinced that renting a condo or home is much better than staying in a hotel. It would definitely be more scenic inside and out.

To have such nice accommodations combined with a scenic view would make a very relaxing vacation. Oregon looks to be a beautiful state with a lot to offer those who visit. Sure, we have beaches here but they are not as spectacular. If the beaches are stunning in photos, just imagine how beautiful it is to experience in person.

18 Wiis in a Week

After seeing 18 Nintendo Wiis come through the local Wal-Mart this week, I’m feeling more optimistic that I will find one when I’m ready to buy, which will probably be the beginning of the year.

Of course, I have entered two contests to win a Wii. It seems those are really popular these days. If I win one, then I need not worry just how many the local Wal-Mart gets in. I’m glad I’m able to resist charging a Wii and am waiting until I have the cash. It’s hard but I think it will be more fun to play games on a fully paid Wii than one I will have to pay for later.

Losing Weight

One thing I do worry about when I lose the extra weight I have is if my skin will ever look the same. I’ve been thinking that if I do in fact lose all this weight then I will do anything to make sure my body looks as good as possible. Even if I have to visit a cosmetic surgeon in Los Angeles, California, I will do it.

Hopefully it won’t come to that and by losing weight slowly my skin will have a chance to adjust to its new size. It’s hard to have patience when losing weight especially when some weeks the scale doesn’t move. I just have to remember to keep my eye on the big picture: a better, healthier life with my family.
