It’s seldom my husband has a reason to wear his cufflinks, but when he does get all dressed up he looks really good. I owe him a night out. Somehow he did something wrong and I got swindled into saying that I would take him out.

Right now I can’t take him out because I’m saving for a Wii. I haven’t eaten out in a few weeks because that is money that I can save for a Wii.

When I do take him out, I think it would be nice for him to get all dressed up. We haven’t been out on a date in forever. It’ll be nice to get all dressed up for a change.

Since the move, there are several items that are seemingly lost. Missing is my favorite pen, notebook, and PSP. I have a feeling my PSP is gone forever since we never did find it from when I lost it earlier this year. We joke that when something comes up missing that we will find it with the PSP.

I hate when things are lost. Luckily I did find all of the power cords to the video game consoles. I didn’t pack them together since it would have been hard to do so. Once I found the systems I was upset that I couldn’t remember what I did with the cables. Talking to my husband helped me realize exactly what I had done with them.

If only everything was as easy to find as those cables. There is still so much to unpack and sort through. Maybe I will find that pen that is probably by my PSP tomorrow.

Now that October is here, it’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas. My wish list doesn’t have anything like Lennox jewelry or Luminox watches on it but is rather made up of mostly video games.

This year’s list will include mostly Wii and DS games. The problem with making my list is that few people will buy me a gift. Sad but is the reality of being an adult. You just get less gifts. Anyway, the list usually serves as a shopping list for myself and little else.

It’s still fun to make it out while looking through the latest video games. I’m already in shopping mode so to be able to leisurely browse at the game store provides a great break from shopping. I will have to start my list next week. Too much to do this weekend to get started over the next few days.

Can you tell I’m just a little excited about getting a Wii next week? I keep running the numbers in my head of how much I need. I think I will meet my goal. I’d like to buy a game when I buy the Wii. I’m not sure which one I want first.

I know I want Zelda but not sure if it will be the first game I get. Knowing me I will probably settle for a GameCube game to save some money next week. This weekend I will spend some time reading reviews and making a decision about which game I want. I know I want a great multi-player game since we both will want to play the Wii a lot when we first get it. It will be a tough decision indeed.

Hopefully we will be gaming this weekend. I have missed our weekly game. Since the move I don’t think we have been to a gaming session. It’s going to be nice since my Mom can babysit and we can actually game with just us. Not that she is bad or anything but she gets tired and ready for bed way before the game is over.

I’m hoping to run a one-shot game this month. I want to run Gamma World and really need to brush up on the game before looking for players.

I might try to play Neverwinter Nights tonight to get a little role playing time in before the game. It might not be the party I’m used to but it still could be fun.

Since I had two game credits with Big Fish, I thought it was time I actually got a game with one of them. I really enjoyed the 80’s Game with Martha Quinn, so I got it. Hopefully now I will be able to unlock some of the cool 80s gear when I’ve answered enough questions.

Playing the game reminds me of high school, so it’s fun to think of all the good times. That and I love trivia. Another plus is that my husband hasn’t been that sharp with the 80s trivia. It’s great to finally be better at a game than he is. That is probably the biggest bonus of the game so far.
