The Gift of Gaming

Way Off Topic No Comments »

It’s hard to believe that October is almost here. Usually in October I start thinking about the Christmas season and what gifts to buy those on my list. We are huge gamers, so our list usually includes games and game accessories. While we love our games, they take up a fair amount of space and need to be stored properly.

I’ve tried several different storage setups but none to seem to work really well. I might buy a tool chest for my husband to put game accessories into. If it doesn’t work out, then he can always use it for tools. Tool chests are really neat and I think would hold controllers, games, and other accessories quite well. He’d love a tool chest anyway even if we didn’t use it for games.

So, when looking for my husband a gift this Christmas, I must keep tool chests in mind as I think it would be a great gift.

Cake Mania 2

Hooray! We have broadband again! And we have it just in time to try out Cake Mania 2. This will probably be my first demo game to download with the new high speed connection. Might as well break it in right.

This picks up the story of Jill after she has saved her grandparents’ bakery and as she sets off to make her own mark in the world. Some of her new characters seem not from this world, so it should be a fun game with a similiar premise to the first one.

So many games have come out these past few weeks that between finishing our home and moving in properly, I will have to stay up pretty late just to play them all. Who needs sleep anyway.
