College Days
Way Off Topic No Comments »I never had bunk beds as a child but always wanted them. When I went away to college, I finally got to experience sleeping in one. I had the top bunk, which was great. It was like having reign over the entire 10 feet of dorm room living space.
Sometimes I miss those college days. It’s too bad that you can’t go back in time for a day every year and relive a day of your choice. The older I get, the more I agree with the saying “youth is wasted on the young.”
One thing I wouldn’t want to go back to is the older video game consoles. I remember having a Sega Genesis, which was great fun but you couldn’t save your progress in games. It made it extremely difficult to finish some games where you couldn’t save at all. Some games did have codes to unlock levels but it was always like 15 digits of letters and numbers. My PIN isn’t that complicated and it protects a lot more valuable information than unlocking game features.
I’d like to go back a day a year of my choosing but I’d have to take the next gen consoles with me. That’d make those college days even better.
