Fitness Revolution

Some of the games for the Wii have me excited since they are about getting some exercise while having fun. I really want to get fit and lose weight. While diet products like hydroxycut are so tempting, I not only want to lose weight but get fit. It will take changing the way I eat and adding exercise into my daily life to get the results I want.

I have every reason in the world to get fit. I have an almost two year old who is my world, and I want to keep up with her. But being a gamer I really love nothing more than sitting in front of the TV or computer playing games. Luckily with the Wii coupled with Dance Dance Revolution and Yourself!fitness, this gamer might actually have a shot at getting fit while playing video games.

I plan to fully start my fitness revolution the first of the month since we are in the middle of moving. I will have to layout my goals for September and hopefully I can reach them. Progress reports and updates will be posted here. Maybe accountability will also help to keep me on track.

We received a personal Internet computer, which is basically a device that allows you to connect online but isn’t a full-fledged computer. It comes with everything you need to connect to online. All you need is an Internet connection and a monitor. So we’re thinking of getting an lcd monitor and just playing online games on it since we have computers.

There are some fun online games especially from websites like Pogo.com. I won’t be able to download games but there are plenty of casual games that have a free online version. Guess it’s time to start going through my bookmarks to find games that I thought were fun.
