My husband stopped by the local hobby shop this weekend to clean out his box. They hold a few comics each month for him and he hasn’t been by in a few months. He spent about $30 and didn’t get all of what was in his box. Looks like it might have been longer than just a few months since his last visit to the hobby shop.

So now we have some new reading material at least for a few days if not longer. Joe loves to get Knights of the Dinner Table which is a great comic about gamers. He also enjoys Moon Knight and Shonen Jump. He always picks up Previews to see what is coming out next. It’s just fun to flip through the Previews to look at all the merchandise and to get a sneak peek at what the next month’s comics will be about.

I’m way behind on reading the Knights of the Dinner Table. It’s hard to read with Rae around since she usually takes away whatever I am trying to read. Hopefully I can catch up one of these days since I enjoy the comic a lot.

Today we stopped at a store that my Dad raves about. We have one in our city but is never a bargain, so I couldn’t really understand why he loved the one in his city. Now I know why. The two stores - although the same name - are really different. His store has lots of interesting deals.

We found a couple of anime DVDs for $3 each. I also found Psychonauts for the PC for $4. I’ve been wanting to play the game for a while since I have a friend who enjoyed the game. I couldn’t pass up a chance to play it for only $4.

I can’t wait to play the game and watch the DVDs. It’s always nice to find good deals. It’ll be fun to shop there again.
