Sadly, I did not win the Wii in the Parent Bloggers contest nor did I win a copy of Wii-Boogie. So it looks like I will have to get it the old fashioned way and buy it. I could buy it from the winner of the contest since she is likely to sell it since they are not gamers. I guess some people will enter a contest just for a chance to win something. She may be more of a gamer than she realizes then.

We are backing out of going to Dragon Con. Apparently I wasn’t approved for press, so that would just be another expense to pay for me to get in. I’ve already made some money for the trip which might be diverted into a Wii fund. *sigh*

Our new neighbors at our new place will be familiar faces. We are moving next to my parents. This is a great piece of real estate since it is away from the city and very quiet. It will be strange to know my neighbors so well. I will probably be one of those neighbors that borrows the cup of sugar or eggs all the time.

I do miss not knowing my neighbors as well as when I did growing up. It just doesn’t seem like there is time or opportunity these days to get to know the people around you. It’s kind of sad.

While I’m thrilled to be moving, it will be quite the adjustment to living in the country again. It should be fun, though and great for the baby.
