CellFish Review

CellFish.com is a website that has content for your cell phone including images, ringtones, and video. You can get free ringtones and free images as well as share your media with others. Sign up was fast and easy, just the way I like it. The service was simple to use, too - another big plus in my book.

Cell phones have become increasingly more difficult to use. My husband got a new phone recently and had to watch a tutorial to learn how to use all the features. I’m one of these people who read the instructions as a last resort, so I like services and products that easy to figure out. Cellfish was simple to get started with. They do have a premium service that costs money, but their basic account is free.

You will choose your username, password, and fill out some other information like favorite music. This information will be displayed in your profile and can be changed later. You will instantly get a text message with your PIN that you will need to continue the registration process. From there it’s smooth sailing. Instantly start uploading your media to share or find media to send to your phone.

I always thought getting free ringtones was a thing of the past because it seems that all ringtones now cost money. It’s refreshing to find free ringtones on CellFish that have no strings attached. You can also easily shared your digital photos either from your phone or your computer through CellFish. I uploaded a photo from my computer that took less than 30 seconds. I could have easily done it from my phone by sending the photo in an email. Here is a photo of Rae. She has learned how to take a picture of herself.

If someone wanted to send this photo to their phone, they would just click the phone icon in the corner to start the process. You should then receive a text message with the link to the photo. I won’t be able to add this to my phone since I do not have media support but I’m sure my husband will be grabbing this cute photo for his phone.

CellFish has a vast amount of media content for phones. Ease of use of their service will make Cellfish a great way to share photos and other media with cell phone users.

Alice Greenfingers

Casual Games No Comments »

With a new Big Fish game credit, I’m once again browsing for a new casual game. One that caught my attention was Alice Greenfingers. Alice Greenfingers is a simulation game that has you growing your own garden of flowers and vegetables. Then take those items to the market to sell.

Alice Greenfingers is a small demo download at less than 4 MB. I guess I’ve become a graphic snob since the graphics are very retro to me, not that is totally a bad thing. But it’s hard to spend my game credit on something that doesn’t look like it was created in the last 10 years.

What little I’ve played, I’m not too impressed honestly. It starts off rather slow with Alice only able to grow tomatoes. After planting them, they take forever to sprout, leaving what seems a lot of in game time with nothing to do. I might give it another shot since there are up to 12 flowers and vegetables that can be planted. It might get more challenging later.

If the gameplay picks up and I can get past the simple graphics, Alice Greenfingers might be very enjoyable since I love this type of Sim game. But my first impression is not a very good one. The game might redeem itself if I at least finish the hour long demo.
