My Digital Camera
Way Off Topic No Comments »I use my digital camera everyday. I have a point and click Canon Powershot that I bought last December. It has been the greatest purchase I have made in a while since after all these months I still love it.
The next camera I will buy will be in the Canon digital cameras family because I’ve had such a great experience with the Powershot. I wanted a small compact camera with decent resolution so I could stick it in my purse to have with me all the time. Rae does the cutest things when we’re away from home, and with my compact digital camera I can capture those moments.
Here is one of my favorite pictures taken at the zoo:

Having a digital camera is great for snapping photos. My sister-in-law got a film camera this weekend. I doubt I could go back to a film camera because with my film camera I was always questioning if this is “film worthy.” You can only take so many pictures on a roll, and you have to pay to develop the whole roll. So you get prints of bad photos and all. With my digital camera, I take a lot more pictures and of subjects that I wouldn’t with a film camera. Some pictures I take just for sharing on the Internet. It might be an interesting building in town or a local landmark that someone might be looking for that has significance to them. You never know. Taking that picture takes up very little room on my memory card and is a snap to upload and share.
I would like to upgrade to a Canon Rebel digital camera one day. For right now though my point and shoot meets my needs just fine.
