Ever since Raegan was born, I’ve been trying to be more responsible with money. It’s hard because my husband and I handle money the same way and that’s poorly. I really have a lot of debt questions that I’d like answered. We are hoping to be out of debt within a couple of years, and I’d love to have counsel on the best way to do this.

We will probably do the Dave Ramsey way and that is to pay the minimum on all your bills except the smallest. Aggressively pay it down until it is eliminated. Then take all that money and apply to the next bill. The sense of accomplishment is suppose to help keep you motivated to pay off your debt since you can see visual progress.

I have been selling a few games on eBay to make a little extra money and am now going to venture into our other collections like comics and cards. Video games sell nicely on eBay. I’m not sure how the others will sell as it has been a while since I sold anything but games. Making extra money will help to get those bills paid faster.

Hopefully we will become better stewards of our money. We have improved a lot since the baby was born. We still have a long way to go.
