I’m always willing to download a game since most come with an hour long demo. Here is how it usually plays out at our house. It doesn’t matter which computer I use, my husband will sniff out the demo, then proceed to play it until the the time trial is up.

I will download, play for 5-10 minutes or before the baby demands that I stop. Then I always have plans for coming back to play more. Before I can get back to my game, my husband has found it and proceeded to play the whole demo. Usually it’s not a big deal but when it is a game I really wanted to play some more, I’m a little bummed. But it’s usually those games that I wind up buying.

The latest demo to be played out was for Sproink! which I was planning to buy anyway. I’m glad my hubby likes it because I wanted to get another Peggle-like game. Sproink! isn’t really like Peggle but there is just something about the gameplay that reminds me of it. It might be the cute characters or the gem-catching aspect.

I will just have to learn to either play the game demo for an hour or learn how to share the time. I really don’t mind most of the demos he plays until the end. It’s always good to have a second opinion of a game before buying it.
