I think my $5 office chair won’t last that long so I’ve been shopping for that and some other office furniture that we are in need of. I would like a bigger desk to have more work space. My current desk holds my computer and that’s about it. I find myself working more at my husband’s desk since it has more space.

We will probably keep our current desk for Rae since it will be good down the road when she had her own computer. Hopefully I can find a great deal like with my $5 chair when I do purchse some new office furniture. One can dream anyway.

We need to renew our membership to Sam’s Club and now there is more reason than ever because Sam’s has the Wii. The Wii will be our next electronic purchase but right now we are saving for Dragon Con, so it’ll have to wait a few more months.

It does give me incentive to save money though and that’s always a good thing. There is so much I want to get done by the end of the year and if I get half of it done I’ll be glad. One of those to dos is to get a Wii but I also want to concentrate on getting out of debt. Oh too many things to buy and not enough money.

After attending a luau themed party, I’m thinking that it would be great to use it for baby shower decorations, too. I’m not sure my baby shower really had a theme, but if I’m ever in a position to host one, I plan on using a luau Hawaiian theme.

Just think of all the fun with a hula hoop contest, especially for the Mom-to-be. It would at least create some new and exciting baby shower games. We could have a pool as to how many complete hulas the Mom-to-be can complete before hula hoop falls down. Another fun game could be the Limbo where contestants take turns trying to go under the limbo poll. The poor Mom-to-be might have a tough time with this game but isn’t that the point of baby shower games anyway?

The vibrant red color and the hula girls make my first choice perfect for a Mom expecting a little girl. The Surf’s Up luau theme is a little more subdued and might be a better choice for a Mom expecting a baby boy. A luau would be something different and fun for a baby shower theme. Now all I need is to wait for a friend to get pregnant and offer to host their baby shower.

I received a CD in the mail from Big Fish Games. It has 25 game demos on it. That means I can try out 25 games without having to download any of them. Downloading really doesn’t take that long on broadband but still it’s nice to have some of CD.

Since I still have a game credit to spend, I thought that the 25 on the disk might be some of their more popular games and might give me some direction on which game to get next.

It’s also nice to receive something in the mail that isn’t junk or a bill, so I will be checking out the Big Fish cd this week.

In our new office space, we will be in need of some executive desks since it will give us plenty of options. I need space for the computer plus a place to work like to take eBay photos or to just write in a notebook. A nice roomy desk would do the trick.

The only problem is space as I’m not sure our new office will have enough room to accommodate all that we hope to get out of the space. So, we’ll have to measure and plan out just how we want the office furniture to go before buying anything. I will be glad to have my computer back in our office because the PC has some programs on it that are very useful to me.

It will be great to finally have all of our stuff in order even though it’s going to take a few months to make that happen. I can’t wait to see the finished look.

My new character was introduced to the group last night during our weekly game. The party just returned from Ravenloft, so needless to say, there are several new characters who will take up adventuring with the group.

It was kind of fun and really on the fly since I don’t quite have my character finished just yet. Still it was great to come into with new characters so there are several of us at one time, which makes it easier to build a relationship with the group since it’s not right before a fight. The group is getting ready to go out on a new mission, so for right now, there is much rejoicing for those characters who made it out of Ravenloft. It was a good time to enter the party since all the celebrating was going on, plus it gives a chance to bring in a character who can get in good with the party right off the bat by partying hard and having fun.

We plan on traveling to the Outer Banks of North Carolina some day. We honeymooned in North Carolina and love it. We will probably wait for the baby to get just a little older so she will have a good time. That is just one of the many vacations we have planned. Disney World, Washington D.C., and a few other places are making our short list.

Next year we are likely to go to D.C. since I have a conference there anyway. We can make it a working vacation. There is so much to see and do with almost everything free. So, all we need to cover are basic expenses and we should be able to tour pretty much for very little cost.

Right now we are planning on going to Dragon Con, which is just over a month away. After that, we have Ren Faire in November. The spring will be our trip to DC. Time to start doing some serious planning.

Our main television is quite old and needs to be replaced. I was looking for something with s-video inputs or at least RCA inputs so that we have more options for gaming and computer display. It would also be nice to pick up a DVR so we can record those shows we miss and watch them whenever we want.

There’s nothing I like better than “window” shopping for electronics, so it’s fun to explore the whole website to see what they have. If I decide to buy from Abt, I can take advantage of free shipping, which could save me a lot of money. At least free shipping will help me shop and keep within my budget a little better.

There are so many option when it comes to buying a new television like LCD, plasma, projector. So many options that I really want to explore all the features of each to see which is right for us. It’s exciting to shop for a new television especially one that will feature newer technology, making it easier to connection to our games and computer.
