Racing Games

I recently bought a steering wheel controller for the PlayStation 2. Racing games are a passion of mine, so I thought it’d be fun to have the steering wheel controller complete with pedals. I got a great deal on it, which made it hard to pass it up.

My favorite racing games are ones that you can add accessories to your vehicle. While it’s not a racing game, The URBZ for the DS featured a task involving working for an automotive shop where they sold all sorts of automotive detailing supplies. Those games that all you to customize your car are great fun since you can put those personal touches on your ride in game.

I bought my nice steering wheel controller, and I don’t even have a racing game for PS2. Well, at least not yet anyway. Need for Speed, Grand Theft Auto, and Ford Racing are all current contenders to be my first racing PS2 game.

Boggle

The word board game is now a casual game. Boggle is a game of skill where you take letters in the playing field and make as many words as you can before time runs out. There are three modes of game play: play against others around the world, against the computer, or play against four people around your computer.

Click the boggle letters to shake them up. Then find as many words by clicking on letters in sequence. You score points when you find unique words that don’t match what other people found. Boggle is available at Big Fish Games and has a demo version.
