Promotional Products

Last weekend I attended a kids expo that have plenty of local vendors showcasing their services or products. Every booth had some sort of promotional products to give away to people who stopped by their booth. Free stuff is definitely a way to draw a crowd into your booth at trade shows.

Gimmees.com has a wonderful selection of promotional products that would have been perfect for a kids expo including frisbees and crayons. We picked up a couple of frisbees, cups, and pencils at the expo but really something like a yo-yo or bubbles might have made more of an impact.

Whatever your audience will be, Gimmees surely has something suitable. I’ve been looking for the right promotional item for Romperz. I am drawn to the dominos set but really think the rubber ducks are just too cute.

I will keep Gimmees in mind when it comes to promotional products. Their selection and pricing Make Gimmees bookmark worthy.

The Sim House

I’m not sure exactly how I want to layout our home furniture in the living room. I do know that I don’t want to move it over and over again until I stumble upon a good design.

That’s why I like to use The Sims to help me out. I create a room that is to scale. Then I buy furniture and place it in the room. While I can’t place everything that is in my living room, using The Sims helps to get a rough idea of how it will look. It’s a lot easier to click and drag than push and shove.

The Sims not only can be a fun way to pass time but can be very useful when it comes to home decorating. Sure I could get software that would be more suited for home decorating, but I already own The Sims. If it works for me, then I’ll save my money and just buy more Sims expansions.
