Visit Ask Patty in Second Life

Games, Online Games No Comments »

While I haven’t played much of Second Life, I have heard great things about this addicting social game. Now people can create their own Slurl, which is basically virtual real estate in Second Life. Ask Patty.com, the website dedicated to answering all of your auto questions from a woman’s perspective, now has their own Slurl. So not only can you visit AskPatty.com but now you can visit Ask Patty in the game Second Life.

AskPatty’s Second Life Page is located on Pontiac’s Motorai Island. You have a cup of tea or coffee and chat with AskPatty. Visit the lounge to get a free AskPatty t-shirt and pin. I need to do that because my avatar isn’t fully dressed.

You can still get the automotive advice for women by women in either the game or at AskPatty.com. Teleport to AskPatty in Second life and enjoy some good music, good cookies, and a good time.

Dreamblade New Expansion

Way Off Topic No Comments »

The new expansion for Dreamblade is now available. Anvilborn features some new blade abilities as well as a new category of minis.

There are now machines that have a black base, so they do not belong to one of the four factions. I apologize that I am still unfamiliar with the set. My husband played in the release tournament Saturday while I tended to a sick baby. He got one anvilborn figure that is a cannon and will fire on enemies two cells away. That is pretty cool. He got to fire it once in the tournament, but it was very affective.

Here’s an article on first impressions of Anvilborn on the Dreamblade website.

Thinking of Branson

Way Off Topic No Comments »

A few years ago, we went with friends to Branson Missouri. Branson has become the tourist hotspot who love country music. It reminds of a southern Las Vegas. There are three main roads through Branson, each has plenty of hotels and performance halls.

We made the mistake of driving through Branson. There are a lot of cars there. If you can go on a bus tour or some other transportation, then I highly suggest it. It’s no fun to try to manuever through Branson in your own vehicle.

Besides the traffic, we had a great time shopping and taking in a show. With the weather so pleasant it would be a great time to go back. Hopefully we’ll get back that way soon.

Teletubbies Video Game

Way Off Topic No Comments »

Since the little one loves the Teletubbies, I decided to check into Teletubbies video game. I found a game for the PC and PlayStation 1. The PC game is going for around $50 and the PlayStation 1 game is about $20 on Amazon. That is a little more than I had wanted to pay.

I guess I’ll just stick with the online games at PBSKids.org. I’ll look for any local deals on Teletubby games. I’ve never seen any of the video games locally, so I’m not holding out much hope I will have any real success.

By the time I find the games, she’ll probably be over the Teletubbies anyway.

Eric Schiffer

For those who don’t know who he is, Eric Schiffer is an author and a humanitarian. He is also described as one of Hollywood’s classiest socialites.

He is also an actor and producer. Eric has just agreed to star in a remake of a Charles Bronson film. The working title is “Death Wish Returns.” Filming will begin in December in Glasglow, Scotland and will be released in 2008. Eric is also in talks to appear in a action comedy buddy movie alongside an A-list actor.

With his stunning looks and reportedly great personality, Eric Schiffer will be one to watch in the coming year.

Fairy Godmother Tycoon Progress

Casual Games, Games No Comments »

I’m so glad I purchased Fairy Godmother Tycoon. It has been a lot of fun to play. Plus it is easy to play it with one hand, making it a great casual game to play when the little one is sitting in my lap.

I’ve just entered a new village. It’s based on the three little pigs. Competition will be tough as there are now two competitiors in the tiny geographic area. Pricing, stock, and marketing are now more important than ever.

It was nice in the Beanstalk level that at the end I was making really good money. It is nice to finally rake in $3,000 a day. Those upgrades are vital for real success and are worth every penny, I mean bean.

Almost One Year

It has almost been one year since Rae’s baptism. Where has the time gone? My little baby is a full-fledged toddler. I remember yesterday getting ready her baptism gown and opening her baptism gifts.

I’m glad we were able to have her baptism in the church that my husband’s family attends. It was so special to have them all be able to attend her baptism.

The next big event will be first Communion, but we still have a few years before them. I’m sure it’ll be here before we know it.

Spiderman 3

So, we are less than two weeks away until Spiderman 3 hits the movie theatres. I’m very excited. Spider-man is one of my favorite superheroes, so I anxiously await to see how they take on all that looks to be included in Spider-Man 3.

I’ve haven’t read the comic in years. The last time I regularly read the Spider-man comic book was right after the Spider-man clone episodes. I think I had stopped reading after his daughter was born and subsequently kidnapped.

I look forward to seeing the movie. We might even find a babysitter and go by ourselves.

As Seen on TV

Informercials are my secret pleasure. I have always enjoyed watching them. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine.

On my want list are several As seen on TV items including space bags. I keep thinking how the bags could really help us with our storage problems. Another products that we can definitely use is TV Trays. The Tray Valet at TV Products for Less is what I covet. I could really use this, especially to use with my laptop.

Sometimes the baby wants to be in my lap, so the Tray Valet would allow me to have access to my computer plus hold the little one. It’s a win-win situation since she gets the comfort of Mommy while Mommy can continue to work.

As Seen on TV products really grab my attention. I don’t always buy the product, but the commercials are entertaining.
