Gaming Furniture

I have been working on our decorating our game room for quite some time. We had bought a gaming rocking chair that is comfortable but is really hard to get out of. This has me rethinking my plan to buy more gaming chairs and switching to more traditional home furniture.

A sewing rocker would make a good gaming chair. It is small, low to the ground, and doesn’t have arm rests. It will be a lot more comfortable to sit in and will be much easier to get in and out of it. It will even take up less room than the gaming rocking chair. Space is always a concern with a small house. We have to make every square foot count.

While gaming furniture is appealing, it’s just not practical for our growing family. Home furnishings that are more useful and comfortable will top our priority list.

Super Bounce Out

Super Bounce Out
is one of my favorite vintage classic games (if there is such a thing! :) ). This title has been around forever. I had signed up for a DSL package that included 12 downloadable games for free. Each month I could download a game for free. I loved it. Not only was this my first exposure to high speed Internet at home, but I got free casual games.

One of the games I downloaded was Super Bounce Out. I had played the demo before and quickly blew through the hour long free game play. Every once in a while I still like to play this one.

The object of the game is to match up three similar balls. You can switch two at a time. Switching two must net at least one three in a row for the move to happen. The graphics are like the rubber bouncy balls from gumball machines complete with squaky sound effects. I remember playing Super Bounce Out at least an hour trying to topple my husband’s high school. I not only dethroned him from the top of the leaderboard but set the bar so high that to this day he still hasn’t come close to that score.

I should have taken a picture of that one because it was definitely a gaming moment to remember.
