The Sims 2 Celebration Stuff

Games, PC Games No Comments »

Remember the good ole days when a lot of objects for the Sims were free? Now to get the really cool stuff, you have to buy the additions. Oh well, at least I’m saving bandwidth.

The latest object collection will be The Sims 2 Celebration Stuff. The Sims can now get everything they need for their swanky parties like centerpieces and other decorations. There is also new clothing like tuxedos and bridesmaid attire. Let’s see if Maxis can capture the hideousness that is the bridesmaid dress.

Also there are objects for fiestas and other outdoor parties. The Sims 2 Celebration Stuff will be available April 3rd.

Hallway Wars

In case you didn’t get enough of high school antics in high school, now there is an online game that brings the high school experience to an online multiplayer game. Hallway Wars is all about popularity, good planning and strategy.

You can play Hallway Wars as one four factions, each with their own special ability. The Geeks earn more money, the Jocks have a strength and attack bonus, the Stoners have a defense bonus, and the Cheerleaders have a sneak bonus. Each round you earn FINs, which is the currency of Hallway Wars, that you can buy upgrades in weapons, defenses, and game abilities.

It’s a turf war for the hallways of the high school. The top players can earn some great rewards at the end of each round. Cash is always a great incentive to give it your all.

Hallway Wars is free to join and play. Explore the game a bit, and it would be beneficial to read through the help questions.

Brought to you by Hallway Wars.

Deal or No Deal Tonight

Way Off Topic No Comments »

I missed last Monday’s Deal or No Deal. I’m really curious about the episode since they are promoing it as the best game played yet. Either she has a lot of money in her case or gets out at the right time with a ton of money.

The contestant is from Alaska. She is Eskimo and is a single Mom with three children. You can watch how excited she is to be on Deal or No Deal on NBC’s website. All of the promo footage looks like it came from her intro. She is one excited contestant.

I guess I will watch tonight. I do love Deal or No Deal.

GamePass at RealArcade

I joined RealArcade’s GamePass program this weekend. It’s $9.99/month, and each month you get to a full version of one of their games for free. You can also get a good discount on more games.

The first month is free, and you even get your free game plus discount offers. I got Flower Shop Big City Break since this I really enjoyed playing the hour long demo. I thought $9.99 isn’t a bad price to pay for a casual game a month even if I don’t use any of the features of GamePass.

Plus I have a full month free to make sure I will enoy it. I’m pretty sure I can get $9.99 worth of entertainment from GamePass, so I’ll be keeping my subscription for a while.
