Kevin Bacon was on the Ellen Show today. We use to love to play Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon at least 10 years ago. I love Kevin Bacon and was glad to catch him on Ellen.

Kevin has taken the Six Degrees idea and developed SixDegrees.org that is a charitable website. It’s social networking meets charitable causes. You can our which charities celebrities support and give directly to them or create your own celebrity badge for a cause close to your heart. The badge can be displayed on blogs, websites, emails, etc.

Apparently Kevin Bacon wasn’t flattered when he first learned about the Six Degrees game but now he is cool with it. It was because of the Six Degrees game that he came up with the idea for SixDegrees.org.

Plus now that I’ve been to SixDegrees.org I’m 1 degree away from Kevin Bacon.

For the aspiring veterinarian comes a game that they will want to get their paws on. Pet Pals Animal Doctor lets you take the reigns of being a pet vet, diagnosing 35 animals at a neighborhood vet clinic.

There are 3 levels of difficulty as well as mini-games. The Sim game will take you into the world of pet vets. Examine the animals and make your diagnosis.

Pet Pals Animal Doctor requires a 3D graphics card. There is no demo for this game and is a huge download if bought online. Broadband is recommended to download the game.

Our main television is over 10 years old. It has dead spots on it and really needs to be replaced. So, we’ve begun to shop for a new TV. When buying a TV today there is so much to consider. LCD, plasma TV, or another CRT TV are our choices. Which one is better or will meet our viewing needs? We definitely want one that has s-video to be able to plug it up to the computer. We’d also like best TV for our money.

I can’t wait until we get our new LCD TV. Not only will the picture look better, but the TV will take up less room on the entertainment center. Plus, Guitar Hero should look really good on the new TV. A new TV will not only enhance our TV viewing but our video game experience as well.
