I have a tendency to want to snack when I’m gaming. Last night I took some sliced apples and cucumbers for a snack. It was just as satisfying as any potato chip and a lot better for me.

I keep reading tidbits of a few diet books, taking the advice that I think I can implement into my life. One tip I read said that you crave what you are use to eating, so if you are use to eating sweets, then you’ll want sweets. I’m trying to get into the habit of grabbing a piece of fruit instead of a handful of chips or cookies.

Hopefully in a few days I will want fruit instead of craving sweets.
