I would love to take a Hawaiian vacation. My uncle went years ago and had a great time. Hawaii looks like a beautiful place, and it would be something to experience it firsthand instead of through the movies or television. I use to watch Magnum, P.I. just for the scenery.

To stay in a Maui condo would be a great experience. With a spectacular balcony view, it might be hard to leave the condo to visit the rest of the island. Gebhart Properties has launched a new website that features some beautiful condos in Maui and surrounding islands. Condos are decorated and stocked to make sure guests stay is everything they dreamed of. That’s what I call a vacation. I like the idea of someone thinking of my needs even before I may know what they are.

Our Hawaiian vacation may be a few years away. We might as well for the little one to be old enough to remember it. Besides I need to get in swimsuit shape before I take to the gorgeous beaches of Hawaii.

This genre of casual games called seek and find adventures are really addicting. This is what MCF: Ravenhearst as well as Paparazzi are classified as since you have to search for objects in a picture. Seek and find adventures are really fun, and I’m spending way too much time playing them.

I plan to buy MCF: Ravenhearst later this week for my birthday. I have to wait for payday, either tax return or some other source. But soon, very soon, it shall be mine. Then I’ll probably won’t get anything done.

I have a tendency to want to snack when I’m gaming. Last night I took some sliced apples and cucumbers for a snack. It was just as satisfying as any potato chip and a lot better for me.

I keep reading tidbits of a few diet books, taking the advice that I think I can implement into my life. One tip I read said that you crave what you are use to eating, so if you are use to eating sweets, then you’ll want sweets. I’m trying to get into the habit of grabbing a piece of fruit instead of a handful of chips or cookies.

Hopefully in a few days I will want fruit instead of craving sweets.

My husband attended his first renaissance faire in December. He had a blast and can’t wait go this year. I was unable to attend but look forward to going since that is all he talked about for weeks after he returned.

This year we plan to make costumes for the occasion, and it’s never too early to start putting something together. In our RPG campaign we had a nautical adventure taking place, so we have fallen in love with all things related to pirates. Since we plan to put our costumes together as soon as possible, I’ve been on the lookout for anything I think would be useful. I certainly will need an authentic-looking pirate hat to go with my ensemble. The Captain Jack Sparrow hat is too appealing and will most likely be my choice since I love Pirates of the Caribbean.

A pirate outfit will not only be useful for the Ren Faire but would make a great Halloween costume. Dressing up as a family could be a lot of fun. The little one could go as a parrot. We have located a parrot costume that’d be perfect for her.

First things first, though. I might as well start at the top and buy a pirate hate and then go from there. Since there are many styles of pirate hats, this will be important to have to figure out the rest of the pirate costume.
