New Insurance

Way Off Topic No Comments »

Our car insurance is due this month, so I’ve been shopping online for a better rate. It’s funny because when I first switched to my current insurance company, they were the lowest rate I could find. Years later, this is not the case. I had been assuming that since they were the lowest I could get at the time then that would always be the case. Just is another lesson to never assume anything.

I have found a couple of quotes for car insurance that are indeed lower that what I’m currently paying. Currently we do not have to worry about home insurance since we don’t own a home but are interested in renters insurance. So, the lesson I’ve learned this week is to shop around for the best deal.

For those who qualify, ASDA Finance looks to have some nice rates for car and home insurance. Too bad I don’t qualify. I will keep looking though for new quotes as I have until February 22nd to make my decision.

Brought to you by ASDA Finance.

Paparazzi

Casual Games 1 Comment »

The casual game Paparazzi casts you as a photographer looking to score a picture of some of the hottest celebrities. Before you can snap that photograph, you must find clues as to where the celeb will be.

Paparazzi features a “Where’s Waldo” gameplay in that you have to find objects in plain sight but obsured by a busy scene. Once you’ve located an item, snap a photo. You’ll have a list of items to find, each being worth a dollar amount. If you snap an object that is not on your list, then it’ll cost you money since you are wasting film.

Once you have a certain amount of clues, you get six chances to take a photo of the celeb. After you have a good shot, then you move on to your next target..errr…celebrity.

Paparazzi is fun and not as hard to spot items as in MCF: Ravenhearst. Clues in Paparazzi will cost you money, but the clues are more specific as your onscreen helper will point to one of the objects on your list.

If you like playing “I spy”, then you will surely enjoy playing Paparazzi.
