It has been extremely warm this January. Well, that was until two days ago. Now it’s really cold, and I have cabin fever. The nice weather got me longing for Summer to get here.

Now that the baby is a little older, we’ve been thinking about getting some bikes. Since we live relatively close to the Gulf Coast, I was thinking about buying some beach bicycles. I’m really leaning towards the Urban Lady beach cruiser for me. I really need a 24 inch bike, and I adore the color. The only way this beach cruiser would me more perfect for me is if it were the color orange. Orange is my favorite color, and I think an orange beach cruiser in the summer time would look awesome.

I hope to visit the Gulf Coast a lot this summer not only to have fun with hopefully a new beach cruiser but to help support business. I am sad that my daughter will never see the Gulf Coast pre-Katrina. It will take so long for it to rebuild but hopefully every visit this summer will help in the effort.

A new beach cruiser would also be nice to ride locally since we have a lovely bike trail that use to be the old railroad. It is paved and just perfect for a cruiser bike. Now all I need is to find a child’s seat for my cruiser, and I’ll be ready to hit the trail.

I recently began playing The Sims 2 again. I have one expansion, University, and the Holiday Fun Stuff. I’m beginning a fresh game and populating one neighborhood that will be just our friends/family. So far, I only have myself and hubby created. I have plenty to do in game, but it feels so good to play again. With the holidays being so crazy, I didn’t get to play with the holiday fun stuff. I figure I will have to decorate with some of the Christmas decor and just leave it up. This will be true form for some friends. We had some friends who never took their artifical tree down.

I’m staying away from the money cheat and making my Sims earn their way in the world. It should be fun. I’d love to put together a Sim photo album in game and tell a story.
