Fishing Lures

I live in the South where hunting and fishing are the leisure activity of choice for many. While I’m not a hunter, I do enjoy fishing. Fishing can be very relaxing and calming. I usually fish with worms because I can’t put a cricket on a hook. I just don’t like the noise making insects. I have used fishing lures before with some success. If you have ever went shopping for fishing lures then you know there are a ton of choices and things to keep in mind.

Your fishing lure depends greatly on the type of fish you are hoping to catch. I can’t wait for the little one to be old enough to take her fishing. Going fishing was one of the first dates her Father and I went on. It’ll be fun to revisit the fun of going fishing again.

Buying Used Games

You can save some money by buying a used game instead of a new copy. While the savings for relatively new games will not be that much, it can add up over time if you buy a lot of games.

When buying a used game, check the condition of the disc. I recently bought a used game that was unplayable. Luckily we have a cd repair/cleaner machine. After a repair and clean cycle the disc played. If the game looks really scratched, then you may not be able to play it. Make sure you know the store’s refund policy on used games before buying as well.

Sometimes used games will not have the instructions. A quick Google search can probably net you a manual. If not, play through the game’s tutorial to get a feel for the controls.

I’ve managed to save some money buying used games and accessories. I have had relatively good luck with games and accessories working just fine. While I’ve been satisfied, nothing compares to unwrapping a new game from the shrink wrap. Sometimes I buy new just for the thrill of opening a new game.
