The Sims for the Wii

Games No Comments »

In development is Will Wright’s best gift to gaming, The Sims. The Sims is one of my favorite games, and I have yet to grow tired of it.

I usually stick with playing The Sims on the PC. I did enjoy the URBZ for the DS. Since the Wii is on my wish list, I may have to get The Sims for it when it becomes available. Screen shots of The Sims for the Wii shows that it will be tailor made for the console. The Sims are much more cartoonish, and they really favor the Mii personas that Wii users already create.

It will be a nice feature if Mii’s are imported into the game. Just think of the fun to have a neighborhood populated by your Miis. The Sims is slated for release in Japan sometime in 2007.

Online Casinos

I’m not a big fan of casinos. I’ve dropped a little money here and there at them. My in-laws love going to the casino. I think all the noise really gets to me. That and all the nickel slots are always full. I’ve never played at an online casino, but the concept has always intrigued me.

PartyCasino.com is an online casino that seems to have a wide selection of games. Party Casino has a great selection of game rules if you are unsure how a game is played. I also like the responsible gaming section. It’s important when you are playing with real money to know your limits and be of legal gambling age. Party Casino surely wants you to have a good time but within reason. If I were to play at an online casino then I would have to play some poker. I do love to play poker although I’m a bit rusty. Good thing there are cheap tables even online.

To play at PartyCasino.com, there is a required download. If you are unsure, take the product tour to see what Party Casino is all about.

Cell Phone Pursuit

Way Off Topic No Comments »

So, this month our cell phone contract is up, and we are on the hunt to save money and upgrade our phone. We are dropping down to one phone that will primarily be used by the hubby. We know what we want, and we want the best deal.

Wirefly Announces the Top 10 cell phones of 2006. This is a great list to help us with our search. Wirefly also has great deals on phones and plans. They work with every major carrier in the United States, so why not just comparsion shop with Wirefly and be done with it? Visiting all of the websites and kiosks is not only time consuming but confusing. It’s nice to have so many choices in one spot.

So many choices and only need one phone. We’ve been really happy with our current carrier. Hopefully we can find a better deal and phone upgrade with Wirefly.

While I haven’t been playing the online game Ninja Battles that much this round, friends have been playing and doing really well. One friend may win the round, which lasts for roughly 3 months. Cash prizes are awarded to the top winning team.

In the game, you are either a ninja or samurai. You go on missions, earn money, and gain yang to climb up in the ranks. It’s a fun web-based game with no download required. New round starts next month. Start playing now, and get a feel for the system.
