Your Own Quiz

Way Off Topic No Comments »

I enjoy taking user-made quizzes online. It can be fun and a great time waster. While there are many quiz websites, Sconex caters to teenagers, allowing them to create their own quizzes to share with other users.

Users of Sconex can easily create teen quizzes. Before becoming a member, a teen must answer a question about their high school. Sconex is meant for teenagers and lets them be expressive through creating quizzes. Some quizzes are insightful like the “Are you in Love?” that asks questions that will help you figure out your feelings.

It’s a fun quiz site for those teenagers looking to create or take teen quizzes desigined espciailly for them.

Gamestop DS Download Station

Console games No Comments »

Our local Gamestop is a DS Download Station. I had in mind that there would be a display for this but apparently not. The only way I knew about it was a sign that hung on the games behind the counter. They had three games for DS demo download. I owned two of them so didn’t bother to pull out the DS to download the other one.

Next time I will know they are a DS Download Station instead of finding out definitely while I’m checking out and ready to leave the store.

Online Games

A great time killer is flash online games. They are usually easy and fun to play. The problem with online games is that while there are many sites that offer free online games, the games seem to be a rehash of games you’ve seen before if not the exact same game.

You can play games at Game 2 Play for free. Their list of free online games is impressive and fresh. There are also some fun stuff on Game 2 Play like Ask Joe, think fortune teller meets Magic 8 Ball. I can see this website taking up a lot of my time that I should be doing something else. Maybe I can call it “research” for Romperz.

Guitar Hero Love

We’re still having a great time playing Guitar Hero. I have finished the game on medium setting and am now slowing making progress on hard.

Hard is much more difficult because it adds that fifth note. Now you have to slide your hand down the neck to hit the notes. I get lost of where I’m at and wind up hitting a lot of wrong notes. It just takes some getting use to. I haven’t practiced that much lately, so hopefully I can get the hang of it pretty soon.

Pimp my Sprite

As a lover of video games, Spirtepimp.com has captured my heart. You can make free custom video game sprites using some of the most beloved video game characters of all time. Take a look at my creation:

SpritePimp.com

You can make your creations, then use the code to share it with the world on your blog, forums, or MySpace. I chose Dr. Mario since Mario is my video game man. There are plenty of great video game sprites to choose from and customizing your own message is simple and easy to change.

I can see many uses for Sprite Pimp in the future. It’s a fun site definitely worth a look.
