Our cell phone contract is up this month. Since I am no longer working outside of the home, we have decided to drop to a plan with only one phone. I still would like to have a cell phone, so we’ve been looking into prepaid phones.

Cingular’s Go Phone is the deal I’m most impressed with so far. While I’m not wild about some of the fees, I do not plan to use the phone that much, so in the long run I don’t think it’ll be a problem.

Dealking.com has a nice offer going on now for a Cingular Go Phone. Basically by signing up with Deal King, I can get the Motorola C139 for free. DealKing also has a deal on a T-Mobile prepaid phone, the Nokia 6030. It looks like I have a decision to make.

My video game resolution for 2007 is to buy the games I want and not the ones on sale. Sure, you can find some gems on sale every now and then. If there is a game that I’ve been wanting to play and know I will enjoy it, then I should buy it. It should be first on my list and now some bargain game.

Most of the time I wind up playing a bargain game for a few days, maybe weeks, then it usually ends up on eBay. Titles that I know I will enjoy I play for much longer and usually will keep. Games that are fun to me are also fun to play again. I’ll probably say money in the long run. I’ll buy less cheap games and more titles that I know I will enjoy.
