Brain Age for the DS
Console games No Comments »I picked up Brain Age for my husband for his birthday. I had gotten him a Nintendo DS for Christmas. His birthday is two days after Christmas. This game doesn’t seem to stay on the shelves around here. The first time I saw a commercial for this, I knew this would be a great game to get my husband. I finally found one two days before Christmas.
If all of your other muscles need a workout, then why not give that big, thinking muscle on too? If you don’t use your brain then your skills diminish. Brain Age helps to keep you sharp by testing you on math, memory, and other problems. Each day you play you get a stamp. The more stamps you collect, the more features you unlock.
Each day you can test you brain age. It’ll only record the brain age of the first time you take it for the day. You can practice and take it again, but your age won’t be recorded. The best age is 20. The first time I tested my brain age it was in the 70s. My brain age now is in the thirities, a lot closer to my actual age than 70.
Brain Age is a lot of fum and great for the casual gamer. You can play for five minutes a day or play longer. You can put the game down at any time you feel like it. It’s a great way to kill a little time or a lot of time.
