I’ve heard that some folks have had a bit of bad luck with the nunchuk controller for the Wii. Apparently it comes with a wriststrap that helps to keep the controller in your hand. Some people aren’t using it or had have it break on them.

Some nunchuks have landed through TVs, causing screens to shatter. Apparently some people have complained about back pains and other physical ailments from using the Wii. The Wii does come with a warning that advises players to take breaks from playing certain games.

This news is not a deterent for me. I still want one. Being a quintessential causal gamer, I seldom play games for longer than 30 minutes so hopefully I’ll experience no problems. My husband, on the other hand, is different case. He’ll just have to learn to put down the controller and take a break.
