More Ultimate Alliance

So, I got in some more playing time late last night. Oh it was fun! I will be playing again in just a few minutes.

One of our friends wants to come over and play this week. It’s fine by me, but I really want to be ahead in the game of our multiplayer game. We played Legends as multi-player, which was fun but frustrating. Different people wanting to level once they leveled and a lot of flavor/story text is just skimmed through since most of them have played through the game by themselves. Well, I plan to enjoy every cutscene and word on Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I might pick up my wireless Xbox controller today because my only real playing time is when the baby is asleep. Those cords are just too fascinating. I’m hoping the wireless with cut down on the potential hazards and curiosity. It’ll still be Mommy doing something so she’ll have to check it out. Maybe she’ll lose interest faster if the cords aren’t there.

You had me at Nintendo

I knew after I read the sentence dealing with Nintendo in Michael and Julie’s story that I had to vote for this couple to win the Vegas PayPerPost Wedding. You’ll just have to read their story to get that reference. Sorry, it’s more fun that way. This couple in all their geekness would be perfect candidates for a PayPerPost wedding.

The PayPerPost wedding will be held later this month in Las Vegas. The winning couple will get some cash to help with details of the wedding. PayPerPost will pick up the tab for the marriage license and the honeymoon night that will be spent in one of Vegas’ premiere hotels.

The other two couples in the running, Mike and Corrin, and Jamie and Lauren, have lovely stories as well. The gamer/geek in me relates best to Michael and Julie and is why I chose to vote for them. Read the stories for yourself and vote for whom you would like to see have a Vegas wedding PayPerPost style.

My PS2 Dreams

I think I have finally decided to buy a PS2. I thought that there might be a price drop with the PS3 due out later this month, but I doubt it. The PS2 at $129.99 will still look like a good deal compared to the $500+ PS3.

I’m thinking of picking up a refurbished one at EbGames. It comes bundled with Kingdom Hearts. Since Kingdom Hearts is the main reason I want a PS2, I might as well get the bundle. It is priced at $99, which is under my $100 price mark. This will probably be my Christmas gift to myself. Now to re-tool the Christmas budget to fit it in…
