Ultimate Alliance Second Look

I’m still enjoying Marvel Ultimate Alliance. My new favorite character is Captain America. His special powers are easy to control and to focus.

One thing I am not liking about the game is the camera angle. Sometimes it just switches angles, which can be a little disorienting to say the least. I’m also missing those potions from X-Men Legends.

I got to play some tonight on Xbox Live with some friends. It’s a fun game especially for comic book geeks.

A Weighty Issue

Way Off Topic No Comments »

One of my favorite TV shows is the reality show The Biggest Loser on NBC. It’s inspiring to see everyday people who are not use to exercising or have had success dieting change their routine and lose weight.

I’ve been trying to exercise more, but it is always an uphill battle. It takes commitment, determination, and sheer will to stay with it. The holidays are a tough and might seem an odd time to change eating habits and exercise. The only successful try at dieting I’ve ever had I started in October. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can have some success and that will inspire me to not eat so much during the holidays. I plan to pull out the Dance Dance Revoultion gamepad and game this week. Maybe I can sweat off some pounds and have fun at the same time.

First I need to get rid of the Halloween candy! I can definitely relate to this video where Ted Murphy from PayPerPost talks about a button(on pants) under stress. It reminds me of the time my husband was wearing some pants and the button just popped off. It flew half-way across the room. Talk about stress. We were just lucky the flying button didn’t put an eye out.
