The Dangers of Guitar Hero..?

Have you seen this site? www.guitarherobrokemyknee.com. Apparently while trying to earn some extra points, this guy hurt his knee while playing Guitar Hero.
The site is cute and chronicles his injury and recovery. While I’ve never hurt my knee as serious as he has (ouch! from looking at the pics), I know these things can happen in a split second. Here’s wishing him a speedy recovery and luck on kicking Craig’s tail next time you play GH!

Gametap reaches milestone

Gametap.com is a game portal to play hundreds of titles from the past. Gametap announces they now have 600 titles in their collection.

Gamers pay a monthly fee and play all the games they like.

600 titles means a lot of choices. Gametap does offer one of my all-time favorites, Streets of Rage. I wish I still had my Sega Genesis just for that game. Some fun memories come up after looking through their list of games.

Back to School

I always looked forward to summer break but by August I was ready to go back to school. Shopping for new clothes and new school supplies were always a highlight of going back to school.

There are many kids who do not have the school supplies they need and generous teachers who pick up the slack to make sure these kids have what they need in class. One great website I found where you can find just what teachers need for their classroom is iloveschools.com. You can search for teachers in your local community or alma mater and find out their classroom needs.
School furniture and other classroom needs are found at bizchair.com. You can find what teachers need then find those supplies online. The selection is great, so it is more likely you’ll find what you need to help out a teacher. It’s so simple to help out and to give back to your community.
