NASCAR Video Games
Games August 6th, 2006The movie Talladega Nights Ballad of Ricky Bobby is now playing in theatres. This movie takes a comic look at the sport of race car driving. Talladega Nights takes top spot at the box office this weekend taking in an estimated $47 million. The sport of racing has grown in popularity in recent years. Racing has it all: fast cars, spectacular crashes, internal fighting, and a rabid fan base that grows each year.
While Nascar video games are not as popular as other sports such as football and baseball, the genre is still available for old and new fans. Driving games has to be my favorite games as they are perfect for the casual gamer. They are usually easy to learn and can be played for a set amount of time like 15 minutes. No need to roam the castle or woods to look for a saving point. Finish a race, and save your progress.
As more fans tune into Nascar, they may also tune into racing video games for their favorite console.
