Gaming Mags

I absolutely adore gaming magazines. Although there is plenty of sources to get news, first looks, and other news about gaming on the Web, there is just something about seeing all that information in print. We like to take magazines on long road trips. My favorite magazine has to be Game Informer. I need to renew my subscription and found this site, MagazinePriceSearch.com, that searches for the best subscription prices to magazines. Now I can find the best deal to renew my subscription. That means I can save more money to buy about those great games I read about in the magazine.

Hotel Gaming

Staying in a hotel definitely has its perks. No worrying about cleaning up, laundry, or other things you have to do at home. All the comforts of home are here in our hotel room this week. We have our computer, free Internet, and cable TV with three channels of HBO. It’s even better than at home.

They also have some services you can buy. You can get Web TV for so much each day. Let me rephrase that. They do have free Web TV for sports, weather, etc. For access to the full Internet it’ll cost extra.

Here is the one I was most intrigued with. There is a Nintendo 64 controller in the room. For a price of $6.95/hr you can play some classic Nintendo 64 games like Mario Kart or Hydro Thunder. You don’t have to play the whole hour at once. Sounds like a good deal especially if you are in a bind to entertain the kids. Too bad there is only one controller. Then it’d be something I would seriously consider buying for a few hours of fun. At $6.95 though a few hours of play, and you have practically bought a 64 console. Guess I’m too practical even on vacation.

A Hot Summer

It has been one hot summer. While preparing for our trip to Tampa, FL, I was reall worried about the backseat getting too hot. There is no direct air to the back of the card. We bought a fan that plugs into the cigarette lighter but really wishing we had bought an Auto Cool Solar Powered Car Fan instead. The Auto Cool Solar Powered Car Fan easily fit onto windows. It’s been difficult to find a spot to clip the fan we had purchased. The Auto fan also is solar powered so no cords to deal with either. Having a car fan I know they can be a huge help in keeping the car cooler, so I believe that the Auto Cool Solar Powered Car Fan can indeed keep the car 30 degrees cooler.

Before we return home I’m thinking of purchasing one just to rid ourselves of the hassle of our other car fan.
