Yes, it’s true. The government has countless numbers of grants available. As a poor casual gamer, anytime somebody wants to give me money I would gladly take it. I think I’ve paid plenty to the government that is now time to find out what they can do for me. Sifting through grants can be time consuming. No wonder some places hire full time grant writers.

There is a nice website FreeGrantSearch.com that does the searching for you. It’s easy to sign up. They send emails of grants of interest to you. I signed up a few days ago and am amazed at the money you can get from the government. There’s one grant that gives you over $3,000 to put towards the purchase of an economy car. I ‘ve always heard about government grants, and now I’m finding out more about them without having to do any research.

On tap for today at Comic Con is an interesting seminar called “PSP University” by John Koller, PlayStation Senior Product Manager. John will be telling folks how to get the most out of their PSP. He’ll show people how to get online with their PSP, use RSS feeds, watch TV programs using location free player among other things.

Also attendees will get a first look at some new games for the PSP.

Spotlight on Phil Foglio also takes plays today. Foglio is a very talented artist who is the creator of one of our favorites Girl Genius.
